We are proud to celebrate an incredible accomplishment at CTA Liberty!

This year, CTA Liberty was among just three of Chandler Unified's 32 elementary schools to increase achievement in ELA, Math, and Science while also reaching our highest overall proficiency levels in the last five years.

While we are proud of these results, what makes them truly meaningful is the collective effort behind them. This achievement reflects the dedication of our teachers, the hard work of our students, the support of our families, and the partnership of our community.

At CTA Liberty, we believe that strong relationships, high expectations, and a shared commitment to student success create opportunities for all learners to thrive. We are especially grateful to be part of a community that consistently comes together in support of our students.

Did you know that today, June 18th, is International Picnic Day?

While the rest of the world is packing up their baskets today, it has us reminiscing about one of our absolute favorite annual traditions right here at CTA Liberty: our incredible Día de los Niños Family Picnic!

Every year, our campus comes alive to celebrate the joy, wonder, and importance of children. And how do we choose to honor our amazing students? The best way we know how—by gathering together as a community, spreading out some blankets, and sharing a meal under the sun.

So, whether you're celebrating International Picnic Day in your own backyard today or just thinking back to our latest school gathering, we want to say thank you to our amazing CTA Liberty community for making our traditions so special.

Welcome to our new Counselor!

We are so excited to introduce the newest member of our CTA Liberty family, Mrs. Holli Cagle!

Hello CTA Liberty,

My name is Holli Cagle and I am your new school counselor. I’m excited to start my 31st year in education, where it all began, elementary school. I served 17 years as one of the Perry High School Counselors and before that taught elementary school.

I absolutely love my family which includes 2 amazing boys and husband. My oldest son just graduated from Perry and will start at NAU in the fall, and my youngest will be a junior in high school playing football for the Perry Pumas. I enjoy being active whether it’s hiking, teaching yoga, walking or soaking up some fun at the beach. I am also an avid football fan so you can find me cheering on my son at Friday Night Lights, and watching college and pro games all weekend! My favorite seasons are fall and football! 🏈 🍁🍂 (football is a season, right?!?!) I’m excited to work with this new group of students, families and staff. As the saying goes, it takes a village, and I am so happy to be part of Liberty’s. I look forward to meeting you all soon. 😊

Our summer check-in today is with Sra. Loera from fourth grade! Sra. Loera and her family went on an Alaskan cruise. They explored glaciers and waterfalls and loved the cooler weather of the 49th state!

Happy Flag Day, Eagle Families! 🦅

Today, we are taking a moment to celebrate the American flag and what it stands for: unity, community, and LIBERTY—a value we carry right in our school's name!

Here at CTA Liberty, our students don’t just look at the flag; they actively take responsibility for it. Every single day, our student helpers show incredible citizenship and respect by carefully raising, lowering, and folding our campus flags. Watching them handle the flags with such pride and care is a daily reminder of how amazing our kids truly are.

We love seeing our Eagles soar as respectful leaders both inside the classroom and out on our campus! ❤️🤍💙

Our next summer check-in is with Sra. Durazo from Kindergarten! Sra. Durazo and her family went on a trip to Maui. We're sure she soaked up the Hawaiian sun and enjoyed the culture of the island.

After a year of hard work, our amazing educators are finally taking some well-deserved time for themselves. From catching up on sleep and diving into that stack of "just-for-fun" books, to traveling, hiking, or simply enjoying a hot cup of coffee without interruption—summer mode is fully activated! ☕✈️📖

📣 Something “Holes”-some Happened in Our Classrooms! 🕳️

If you walked down the halls during the last quarter, you might have noticed a few extra shovels, plenty of orange jumpsuits, and maybe even a jar of “Splat Juice.” No, our teachers haven’t been sent to Camp Green Lake—they are just bringing literature to life! 💛

Our amazing fifth grade teachers went all in for reading time by dressing up as characters from Louis Sachar’s classic book, Holes. From Stanley Yelnats to the Warden herself, our teachers do whatever it takes to make reading unforgettable for their classes!
