Our "Pajama Party" themed Kindergarten Sing last night was anything but snooze-worthy! Our youngest Firebirds put on a fantastic performance full of confidence and joy. It has been so fun to watch these student grow throughout the year. A special thank you to Mrs. Rogers for all her work to make this special night a success!

As Teacher Appreciation Week 2026 wraps up, we want to say, "All hail our incredible staff!"

This week, we hope you felt like the royalty you are. Thank you for the difference you make every single day leading our Franklin Jordan students!

What a wonderful evening we had earlier this week for our Spring Sing! This year’s concert theme, America 250, highlighted the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States and gave our 1st-6th grade students the opportunity to honor our nation through patriotic music. A special thank you to the Dobson High School JROTC for presenting the colors and helping us begin the evening.

Thank you to all of our families and community members who joined us for this memorable event and continue to support the Franklin Jordan music program!

Today on School Nurse day, we recognize our fantastic school nurse and health assistant in the Franklin Jordan health office! Thank you, Mrs. Stephens and Ms. Cornelius for supporting the well-being of every Firebird. You help keep our students safe, healthy, and ready to learn every day!

Happy School Lunch Heroes Day! We want to give a shout out to our three amazing cafeteria team members who show up every day to keep our students nourished and ready to learn. Thank you for all you do!

The Firebird choir brought the fun to the stage today with two performances of their spring musical, “A Race to the Finish!” Under the direction of Mrs. Rogers, our talented 4th-6th graders shared not only their musical talents with us, but a reminder that slow and steady really does win the race. Thank you to all of those that joined us to support the Franklin Jordan choir!

Happy Administrative Professionals Day to the ladies of Franklin Jordan that wear many hats (crowns?!) daily to keep our school running. Thank you Mrs. Stewart and Mrs. Sweetsir, for all you do!
