Today St. Pilot and friend John soloed for the first time. This journey started over 5yrs ago. This wasn’t an ordinary solo...After John started flying with us all those years ago we found out he was a child cancer survivor. This made for a lengthy process in obtaining a medical. During his longer than wanted sabbatical and many medical tests later he obtained that coveted medical all the while meeting the love of his life and becoming a very close friend to Kevin. This was a mile stone only the good Lord above could make happen! With mama Sando and wifey looking on this was a glorious day! To say the tearful embrace after John taxied in to park was one of the sweetest moments in Kevin’s career of being a flight instructor is an understatement! 🙏❤️🛬

Good afternoon! We have been getting many inquiries about the sport pilot rating. Unfortunately due to the type of training aircraft requirement it is not feasible for us to offer this rating right now. If you're inquiry was due to medical issues and or drone pilot employment we encourage you to research Falcon Executive or Classic Air Aviation at Falcon field. They are the only schools that offer the sport rating in the east valley.

For those of you who were looking to use the sport rating to transition to a private pilot certificate we recommend pursuing your private pilot from the start. It will save you much more money in the long run.
