Somewhere between graduation, classroom resets, the new school year, and ALL the chaos… the team needed a little fun too!

So we packed up and headed to Dallas for some much-needed team bonding at the UniverSoul Circus! 🎪✨

Because sometimes the best way to survive the circus at work… is to go to an actual circus together. 😂

Ms. Morgan & Ms. Riley don’t just make up our amazing toddler teacher tag team—they even share a birthday!

Double the teachers, double the personalities, double the chaos, and definitely double the love! These two pour so much patience, energy, and heart into our little ones every single day, and Anchor is blessed to have them both.

Our kiddos deserve the BEST—and sometimes, making that happen gets a little messy. 🛠️📦

Sometimes that means our team has to spend late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays making it happen. Today, our team temporarily traded in our educator hats to become movers, construction workers, decorators, and interior designers.

Right now, Anchor may look a little more like a construction site than a school, but our new school year look is coming together, and we’re so excited for our kiddos to experience it. 💙⚓️

PreK Graduation was EPIC!

We practiced this entrance SO. MANY. TIMES.

And then graduation day came… and these babies went everywhere EXCEPT where they belonged. 😭😂

But that’s PreK! A little chaos, a lot of personality, and memories we wouldn’t trade for anything.

Anchor is a safe place to grow, get messy, make mistakes… and apparently freestyle your graduation entrance. 😂🎓

Today, we celebrated Mrs.Lavaya’s Anchorversary the only way we know how—with a surprise, gifts, and an excessive amount of glitter/confetti.

The best part? This team genuinely loves working together. We laugh together, support one another, celebrate wins, survive the chaos of childcare side by side, and somehow manage to have a great time doing it.

Again, HAPPY 3rd ANCHORVERSARY MRS.LAVAYAAAAA! 🥳🤩

🗣️ HAPPY 3rd ANCHORVERSARY MRS.LAVAYA 🥳🥳🥳

Three years ago, Mrs. Lavaya stepped into the Director role at Anchor… and somehow convinced this entire team that work could actually be fun. 😂💙

What many people don’t see is that she’s more than a director. She’s the listening ear after a hard day, the biggest cheerleader, the problem solver, the occasional therapist, the “big sister,” and the first one to jump in wherever she’s needed. To her, titles don’t mean much—everyone is a team player.

To our families—thank you for trusting Mrs. Lavaya and the Anchor team with your little ones every single day. Your encouragement, kindness, and support mean more than you know.

Happy 3rd Anchorversary, Mrs. Lavaya! Here’s to three years of leading with heart, serving with purpose, and proving that a workplace really can feel like family. ❤️🎉

Here’s a fun fact: Mr. Kado would never tell you this himself, so we’ll brag on him a little. 😊 He holds a degree in Ministry Studies, and we love seeing him use that knowledge to worship, and to pour into our students each day.

Perhaps we’re a little biased… 😏 but we truly believe Anchor has THE BEST parents around! ❤️

It takes a village to raise amazing kids, and we’re incredibly thankful that our village is made up of families like YOU.

This your reminder that you’re appreciated more than you probably realize. Thank you for letting us be a small part of your family’s story. We absolutely love doing life with y’all. 💙
