Inner Beacon

For as long as I can remember, my Dad has always taken it upon himself to organize a back-to-school drive. Regardless of where he was (for those that know him & grew up with me and my family know, my Dad is constantly traveling on business), he would always partner up with folks and find sponsors. Because at the end of the day, my Dad wanted to do his part in making sure that children and parents didn't have to worry about how they were going to have the essentials before the first day of school. I love this picture as it captures the essence of what my Dad has done for decades now. Happy to see my Mom by his side as I know how important this is to her too. I know that MetroPCS really stepped up to the plate this year (as they have other years as well); speaking of plate, I know that the Minnesota Twins are always generous as well. I wanted to take this time to thank each and every one of you for your support over this past year - it has been an amazing journey to say the least! Over this past year, Facebook has been making it increasingly difficult to share and get my message (and my posts) out and that is why there haven't been as many posts or updates over these past few months.
