Korea TaeKwonDo Academy

April is one of the two big months at KTA. We welcome new Black Belt members. To earn a black belt and a deputy black belt, students go through 12 hours of testing. They have done 1500 jumping jacks as well as hundreds push ups and sit ups among other exercises. Each student trained for 1+ years to get to this level, and their journey does not stop here. They are going to be part of our teaching community training junior students.

For our colored belt students, they are working diligently to learn patience and strive for better. It is a steady hard working and we are proud of every single student.

Also, we want to highlight parents who have joined us. We appreciate their courage to start their training journey with their children. They may not be as fast as children at learning in some areas, their amazing modeling is inspirational.

March 2026 Belt Testing-

Our students continuously strive to be better every day. The testing went beautifully and it was joy to see our students train hard. Congratulations!

February 2026 Belt Testing-

On February 19, our students' hard-working was demonstrated. We had several no belt students who were earning their first belt ever! This was an exciting moment for all of us. Our senior students were present for our junior students to guide and lead them to succeed. All of students worked hard to demonstrate their skills.

Congratulations to all our students who earned their next belts!

Our beginner students are working hard to earn their belts. It is always heartwarming experience when we see the whole family learn and grow together. This time, we had our record breaking belt skip with a member in our papa group. He moved from his orange belt to his brown belt at once! Whoa!

Our senior students were there to lead and guide our junior students in all steps and they worked together! Congratulations.

The KTA wishes you happy holidays! Our 2025 was filled with growth with our preschoolers and families. We already had an amazing family-like community here but this was spotlit again this year. The joy of teaching from our Grand Master Ma, Masters Laurence and Su was radiating with passion. We thank all of our students, parents, and instructors, and community supporters. Happy holidays, and see you in 2026!

Happy 2025 Holidays!

The KTA had our end-of-year celebration. Our talented students started off with showing off their talents. With their beautiful voices and performances, we were inspired. Our students also demonstrated different poomsae and every student was awarded for their each unique strengths.

Our end-of-year party was to truly celebrate our students as who they are and their hard work to have better selves tomorrow.

The KTA appreciates your support this year, and we are honored to have you in our journey.

On December 11, our belt testing was held. Our students are continuously striving to improve, and they demonstrated their diligent work. They may not be perfect, but we value their courage to challenge themselves and grow.
