Support the Jewish War Veterans Second Annual Coffee Drive by donating cans of regular ground coffee cans (no bags, decaf or pods) at the East Valley JCC by Feb. 16. All donations benefit U.S. Vets to help end veteran homelessness.

Earlier this month, Alice Gartell presented "The Struggle for Civil Rights in Arizona during the 1950's and '60s," where she shared the stories of individuals who fought discrimination in Arizona during those decades, including her parents, Herbert and Ruth Finn. Her Tuesdays at the J presentation included an exhibit that chronicled the civil rights movement in Arizona.

This week's Tuesdays at the J welcomes Eileen Bell Landau, creator of Authentic Aging , who will explore two practical ways people can gain clarity and steadiness as they age. The program starts at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20.
