Congratulations to Antonette Shirley, CUSD's Indigenous Student Engagement Specialist! She was named the August recipient of the ADE Copper Apple Award from the Arizona Department of Education's Office of Indian Education. Thanks to Antonette's dedication, students in the Indigenous Education Program have found a community across the district and Chandler hosted its first-ever Powwow in April among other achievements.
