Chandler Unified School District Food and Nutrition will be participating in the USDA Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). As part of this program, CUSD will offer free, healthy meals to all children 18 years and younger at approved Open Sites during the summer when school is not in session.

Both winning dishes were featured during lunch this week at the students’ schools.

Meet Perry High School’s Maddie, now a two-time first-place winner of the Blue Watermelon Project: Feeding the Future Competition 🏆🍉
Maddie’s Bánh mì torta was originally inspired by incorporating pork into school meals. This upcoming Thursday, April 30, Maddie’s dish will be served at Perry High School during lunch! Stop by and try Maddie’s winning dish ⭐️

Fresh fruits and vegetables are offered every day as part of our meal program. They’re a regular part of meals—not optional extras—and we rotate options throughout the week to provide variety in colors, flavors, and textures!🍓🥦🥕🍐
