One will be judged and served at the 4-H Annual Pig Roast.
The second will be auctioned off to raise money for 4-H Trips and Scholarships.

Restorative vs. Maintenance Burns... what's the difference? 🔥
The first few prescribed burns on a piece of land are often restorative burns. They help reclaim areas that have gone a long time without fire and can be especially challenging when eastern redcedars have become established. Once the land reaches its management goals, regular maintenance burns help maintain them by controlling unwanted woody growth and supporting the native plant community.
