Big Kahuna Fundraiser Coming Soon!

Get ready, Bears! 🐻💙💛 Our Big Kahuna Fundraiser kicks off this Thursday!

Students will have the opportunity to help support Chandler Intermediate by selling delicious cookies, gummies, chocolates, and more for just $2 each!

Be on the lookout for fundraiser information coming home this week. We appreciate our CIS families and community for always supporting our students and our school!

What a GREAT first day at Chandler Intermediate!

We asked our staff one simple question: “How many first days of school have you had?” From year 1 to our seasoned veterans, every number represents years of loving, serving, and making a difference for kids.

And this wasn’t just our teachers our paras, cafeteria staff, custodians, office staff. Everyone joined in!

It was so good to see our Bears back in the building and all those smiling faces. We couldn’t have asked for a better start, and we can’t wait to see what this year brings!

We’re incredibly thankful to have Officer Draper serving as our School Resource Officer at Chandler Intermediate! He does so much more than help keep our campus safe. He builds relationships with our students, supports our staff, and is an important part of the CIS family.

Are you ready?

Because WE ARE! 🐻💙💛

Yesterday, Brownsboro Intermediate School and Chandler Intermediate School came together to officially launch our Ron Clark Academy House System and the energy in the room was incredible!

This is about so much more than a House System. It’s about building relationships, creating a culture where every student belongs, and watching two campuses become one as we work together to create an unforgettable experience for our students.

We’re beyond excited for what’s ahead.

Yesterday was our Intermediate House Leader Retreat!
🖤🐍 💚🦁 💜🐉 🧡🐅
Student House Leaders from Chandler Intermediate and Brownsboro Intermediate got together to learn more about a new House System we are bringing to our campuses next year.
Students had the opportunity to mingle with new students from a different campus, be sorted into their new House, learn about what it takes to be a House Leader, and have a lot of fun and team building in between!
Our House Leaders are eager and ready to kick off the new year with a fun new initiative to help create engagement and unity across our campuses!

Yesterday we held our Gold Star event for our 6th graders. As they walked the halls for one of the last times, they handed a gold star with a hand written note to their most influential educator. Any staff member from cafeteria workers to office workers, teachers, or paras were eligible to receive a star. It was a wonderful day full of hugs, smiles, and tears.
