JKA Chandler YMCA Offers traditional Japanese Shotokan Karate instructions and training for beginners and advanced levels.

We train in karate for physical and character development. It is a lifetime exercise that helps in maintaining good health and well being.

Another good day of Saturday (5/1/2026) morning training.
1st hour - all. Kihon - focusing on hips vibration, hips rotation with hanmi, shomen and gyaku-hanmi. Fine points of Taikyoku to Heian sandan katas.
2nd hour - brown and black belts review and fine points on Kanku-dai and Tekki sandan.

Consistency builds knowledge and skills that help you progress on your next level.

Mr. Raul Andaya has arrived safely in Japan. 🇯🇵Before the JKA Spring Camp begins, he took the opportunity to train at Naka Sensei’s dojo for some extra training.
