We have had an exciting couple of weeks with multiple "firsts". Nathalie Pineda joined our club on her first visit, and at the next meeting, gave her Icebreaker! Leslie Hammond has really been shining 🌟, winning Best Table Topics and then Best Evaluator across the two meetings. Jon Hammond is another shining star ⭐, having stepped up last minute to give a speech, and winning Best Table Topics at the other meeting. Booma also highlighted her skills by winning Best Speaker when discussing her experiences as a protoge. Newer member Nathaniel did a great job his first time as Toastmaster. Kristin Williams Gramando has been joining us via Zoom to give feedback as an Evaluator or General Evaluator. Our new hybrid format allows those who live further away or who have transportation issues to attend.

Guests are always welcome and free to attend our meetings every Tuesday at Chandler Light & Life Church at 5:45pm.

We've had some exciting things going on recently! We had our first hybrid meeting, with multiple members joining online. Nuru, our Area Director, made her first official club visit and installed the new officers. We had several new guests, including Nathalie Pinada, who joined on her first visit and is already scheduled for her Icebreaker! Guest Tina won Table Topics, as did Teague a previous week. And Jon Hammond gave a great pocket speech about his surveillance system for his kids.

Mac and cheese was the theme of our July 14th meeting, and our meeting was just as tasty. Jon Hammond gave a pocket speech about the shenanigans of his daughter. Paul led us in pasta-themed Table Topics, which Bonnie Bowden shined in and won the prize.
Come join us for fun speeches while learning to polish them, and join in on Table Topics, our non-prepared speaking portion. Guests are always welcome at Chandler Light & Life Church every Tuesday at 5:45 pm.

Rock 'n Roll was the theme of our July 7th meeting, and we had rocked it! A few of us wore concert attire, and before the meeting, we had some music playing in the background. Table Topics touched on the theme, including favorite songs and bands. Bonnie Bowden won Best Table Topics, no doubt wowing the audience with her bit of a capella karaoke 🎶. We got to know more about new member Nathan as he gave his Icebreaker.

The theme for our June 23rd meeting was Favorite Pizza, and the dough was flying! Mike kicked us off with a talk about going beyond the club. Bonnie Bowden shared funny stories about her daughter. People chimed in with different viewpoints during Table Topics, with guest Nathaniel winning the prize. Bonnie won Best Speaker, while Jon Hammond took the Best Evaluator honors.

Favorite Fudge was the theme of our June 16th meeting and Leslie Hammond brought some chocolate for us to enjoy! Teague Swanson gave a thought-provoking speech relating integrity to life. Jon Hammond led Table Topics, and our guest Billy won it with his memories of fireworks gone astray. Avery Sanders gave a insightful evaluation of Teague's speech.

Our first meeting at our new venue. Jon Hammond was our Toastmaster, leading us during our meeting theme Iced Tea and cold drinks. Harvey Schroeder spoke about the Distinguished Club Plan and gave the Table Topics prompts. Leslie Hammond won Best Table Topics response. And our newer member, Paul Rippetoe, tried his hand at the Ah Counter role for the first time.
