What an exciting and energetic evening on 05/19/26 as we explored the theme **“Sports, Games, and Friendly Competition”** under the leadership of our Club President and Toastmaster of the Day, Harvey! 🏆🎯

We were once again treated to Teague’s inspiring speech, **“Love – The Unconditional Mystery,”** which he elevated to an even deeper and more engaging level this week. Mike entertained and enlightened us with stories from his experience attending Backward Toastmasters, blending humor with valuable life lessons along the way.

We also proudly welcomed our newest member, Selva, who made a compelling case for why cricket deserves a place in the Olympics! 🏏 Paul’s passion for sports shined through as he shared how he would gladly referee baseball games while humorously pointing out the dangers of officiating other sports. ⚾😂

Bonnie kept the energy high with fun and engaging Sports-themed Table Topics that challenged everyone to think on their feet. Our functionaries did a phenomenal job excelling in their roles, helping the meeting run smoothly from start to finish. Special appreciation to our speech evaluators, who demonstrated excellent listening and feedback skills by delivering thoughtful and actionable evaluations for our speakers.

There was plenty of laughter, learning, and camaraderie throughout the evening, and we are all excited for our next chapter as we move to our new venue beginning 05/26/26.

Another fantastic evening at Talkotillo Toastmasters on 05/12/26! 🎤✨

Our theme for the night was “Hobbies that Make Life Fun”, and our Club President and Toastmaster of the Day, Harvey, guided us through an engaging and energetic meeting filled with inspiration, laughter, and meaningful conversations.

We were treated to two wonderful speeches:
🔹 Teague captivated us with his thought-provoking speech, “Love – The Unconditional Mystery”
🔹 Harvey enlightened us on the power of mentorship in Toastmasters with his speech, “The Results of Encouragement”

Bhooma stepped up as our Table Topics Master and kept everyone on their toes with a fast-paced fire round of topics centered around hobbies and passions. Our guest for the evening, Paul, swept away the Table Topics win with an entertaining and memorable response about his hobbies! 👏

The evening was extra special with ties for both the Best Speaker and Best Evaluator awards — a true reflection of the incredible talent and supportive spirit within our club.

Members also stepped up to take on multiple meeting roles, showcasing the growth, confidence, and leadership they continue to build on their Toastmasters journey. Kudos to everyone who contributed to another successful and fun-filled evening! 🎉

What a deliciously memorable evening at TALKotillo Toastmasters as we gathered around the comforting theme of **“Favorite Comfort Foods”**! 🍲🍕🍛

Our wonderful Club President and Toastmaster of the Day, **Harvey**, led the meeting with warmth, humor, and outstanding leadership, creating the perfect recipe for another successful night.

🎤 We were inspired by **two exceptional speeches**:
🌶️ **Bonnie** delivered a heartfelt and engaging speech titled *“The Spicy One,”* sharing stories about her older daughter that were both touching and memorable.
💼 **Saj** brought humor and professional wisdom with his speech, *“5 Love Languages of a Program Manager,”* offering a creative and insightful look into what it truly takes to succeed as a program manager.

👏 A huge round of applause to **Bhooma** and **Harvey** for their thoughtful, high-quality evaluations, providing speakers with valuable feedback to continue sharpening their craft.

🍽️ During our lively Table Topics session, members shared their favorite comfort foods, sparking fun, laughter, and delicious storytelling. A special thank you to our honorable guest **Huma** for joining us and delighting us with her love for **Biriyani and Meatballs**!

😂 We wrapped up the evening on a high note with Saj’s Joke of the Day, leaving everyone smiling and ending the meeting with laughter.

🙌 It was truly inspiring to see so many members stepping up to take on multiple meeting roles, showcasing the remarkable progress they are making on their Toastmasters journeys.

Last evening’s meeting at Talkatillo Toastmasters Club took us on an inspiring journey with our theme: “Travel Tales and Dream Destinations.”

A special thank you to our Club President and Toastmaster, Harvey, for leading another fantastic evening and keeping us on course!

💡 Bonnie started us off with a thoughtful and uplifting Thought of the Day, and had everyone smiling as she wrapped up the evening with some funny riddles that brought plenty of laughter to the room!

🎤 Leslie Cooper shared a heartfelt and wonderful speech about her beautiful experience getting married on Valentine’s Day, reminding us all that life’s greatest destinations are often the moments we cherish most.

👏 Avery absolutely knocked it out of the park with an inspiring speech to high school students, sharing what he wishes he had known earlier in life and painting a powerful vision for their future success.

💭 Our talented Table Topics Master, Jon, challenged everyone with engaging impromptu speaking questions that kept us thinking on our feet! Congratulations to Leslie Hammond for taking home Best Table Topics Winner for the evening! 🏆
