Don't fall into the belief that you need someone else to "complete you".

When you do that, you put all the power of being complete and happy into the hands of another person. That dynamic is too fragile for most relationships. Instead, work on becoming complete yourself first, then finding someone else who is also complete, and then instead compliment each other.

Only then can you have a relationship that isn't reliant on the constant need for each person to always act the perfect way to fill all the voids created from past relationships. Take the time to heal first, rediscover the love for yourself, and begin your next relationship as a fully healed you.

Not enough people take the time and do the hard work that is often necessary to heal after a relationship ends.

Because we are feeling so bad now, we often seek out quick fixes to feel better. That is why if you search for something like "how to get over a breakup" you will get a list of things like "Top 10 ways to get over a relationship TODAY". Then when those don't work long-term, we often jump right into another relationship or go back to the one that just broke our heart.

Your pain isn't surface level, so don't settle for surface level solutions to heal it. Be willing to take the time to do the work necessary to do the emotional healing. You are worth it.
