Join me this summer at the Scottsdale Artists' School as we kick off the Youth Academy summer camp! Weekly camps begin May 27th through August 1st. Students will get to experiment with many mediums creating 2D and 3D art. There is something for everyone at every level for ages 6 through 18. Hope to see you!

Summer Fine Art Camps are held in professional art studios and taught by professional teaching artists. Students will learn how to prepare their art for show and will share their creations in a Youth Art Show at the end of the session (2:45 Friday)

Looking for a spring break art camp? I will be one of the instructors at the Scottsdale Artists’ school. Come join us on Saturday mornings for painting lessons and clay projects. Ages 7-11.

We will be working with so many more mediums and techniques, such as:
Sculpture, gold leaf and foiling, oil and chalk pastel, block printing, etc. The possibilities are endless! All art shown on this page has been produced by the instructor Cindy DiBlasi.

Drawing is the foundation for all art mediums, and a lot of kids love anime. Anime requires a lot of practice and imagination which propels young artists' drawing skills profoundly. The instructor is trained in traditional drawing anatomy, but can also draw anime style when needed, as shown below. Everything is kept age appropriate.

These are acrylic painting demos from last summer break. We paint anything and everything with step by step instructions.

We are getting so excited preparing for next week's class! Here are some examples with the techniques we are going to use with watercolor. Instruction will be taught individually to meet each child where they are at on their creative journey as well as encouragement to create what inspires them.
