BIG CLAIMS DESERVE BIG QUESTIONS

Drop 10 strokes.

Transform your game in 48 hours.

Make a year’s worth of progress in two days.

Some even suggest the changes will last forever.

Sounds incredible.

But before you spend thousands of dollars chasing another promise, ask yourself:

Does that actually make sense?

Golfers have been chasing improvement the same way for decades.

Another lesson.

Another swing tip.

Another bucket of balls.

Another YouTube video.

Another piece of equipment.

And then Saturday comes.

Same miss. Same scores. Same frustration.

Maybe the problem isn’t your golf swing.

Maybe it’s the way we’ve been trying to improve it.

Think about the traditional golf lesson.

You show up.

You hit some balls.

The instructor sees something.

You make a change.

You start hitting it better.

And 60 minutes later...

You leave.

Now what?

Was that really what was costing you strokes?

How do you practice the change?

How do you know you're actually improving?

Will it transfer to the golf course?

And what happens when that “fix” disappears next week?

We’ve gotten really good at helping golfers hit better shots during a lesson.

But that's not the same as building a better golfer.

Why an hour?

Somewhere along the way, the golf industry decided that regardless of your age, ability, handicap, physical limitations, practice habits, equipment, or what you're actually doing on the golf course...

We're going to need 60 minutes.

Not 47.

Not three hours.

Sixty.

You have a slice?

One hour.

Can't hit a wedge?

One hour.

Losing eight strokes a round because you have absolutely no idea where to hit the golf ball?

Sorry.

We're working on your backswing.

You booked an hour.

And here's the uncomfortable part:

I've done it too.

For years.

Golfer shows up.

“How are you hitting it?”

“Terrible.”

“Okay, let's take a look.”

Five golf balls later...

“Yep. I see it.”

Do I?

I've known this person for seven minutes. 😂

Maybe we've been asking the wrong question.

Instead of:

“What's wrong with your swing?”

Maybe we should start with:

“What's keeping you from becoming a better golfer?”

Those are two very different questions.

And after 25+ years of teaching this game, that's the question I'm much more interested in answering everyday for the golfers I work with.
