🎉It's Meet the Teacher Monday!🎉 We are so excited to welcome Mrs. Varriale to 1st grade this year!

Hello! I'd like to introduce myself as Carlson's new first grade teacher! My name is Chelsea Varriale and I am SO excited to be at Carlson! I have taught first grade for several years and recently took some time off from teaching to raise my two boys who are currently in kindergarten and third grade. While I have loved being at home, my heart is still in the classroom, especially in first grade. I am originally from Michigan and graduated from MSU, GO GREEN! In my free time I love watching football, traveling, enjoying MI summers, and spending time on the beach. I am looking forward to becoming a part of the Carlson community and cannot wait to meet all of my students and their families!

We are so proud of our little learners and how much they have grown this year — academically, socially, and emotionally. Watching their confidence blossom and their love for learning shine has been such a joy.

As they begin this exciting new chapter, they leave behind a legacy of kindness, perseverance, and teamwork that has made our school community stronger. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and the young leaders they are becoming.

Yesterday, we had the honor of welcoming back our graduating Champions! 🎓❤️

Our seniors returned to where it all began — Carlson Elementary — to reconnect with teachers, memories, and the halls that helped shape their journey. From smiles and hugs to one final walk through campus, it was a special day filled with pride and celebration.

Congratulations, seniors! We are SO proud of all you have accomplished and can’t wait to see where your next adventure takes you. Keep chasing your dreams — we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way! 🌟

This morning at our 4th Quarter Assembly, we celebrated our Heart of a Champions! ❤️🏆

We also honored our amazing 6th grade cheerleaders for their hard work, spirit, and dedication throughout the year. 📣
