Last Thursday was the Conference Relay Meet and the CPHS Girls Swim and Dive team took first in both swimming and diving!!!!! Way to go Rebels!!!!! 🥇

This coming Thursday is our first home meet of the season starting at 6pm against Osseo. We hope to see you there!

Parents and athletes, we see you tonight for the Mock Meet!!!!!

3:30 photos and practice
5:30 pm - PARENTS show up to learn the various jobs at a meet
6 pm- time trial meet- athletes will swim a 50 of all strokes (if they are able) as well as possibly a 100 IM. There will also be a few relays. The point of this meet is for the coaches to get some baseline times for the athletes at the start of the season. Plus it's a lot of fun.

After the meet, there will be a parent meeting to go over basic information for the season.

Friendly reminder to submit your peach order by tomorrow 8/14. The order form is on the website (one per family).

Also, the apparel store is open. You can receive free shipping until August 26th. Orders can be placed all season but free shipping to the pool ends on the 26th.

Friendly Reminder: Only 1/2 of the athletes have submitted their swimsuit/tshirt sizes on the order form. We want all to do so ASAP so that we can get suits and shirts on hand for the first meet in August - sometimes these orders take weeks and we'd like for the team to have their uniform early on in the season if at all possible. Please complete the Google form before June 30 (as long as you know your athlete is joining the team this fall). Use the QR code on the parent meeting handout or head to the CPHS Girls Swim and Dive website and complete the Google form there.

Also, you can start collecting peach orders now if you’d like! They are $32 a box this year and usually arrive on or before Labor Day weekend. Make sure to collect the money when you take the order and if using Venmo, have the person put the swimmer’s name in the comment section/memo line. Order tracking forms are on the website!

Don’t forget to come to the parent meeting on Monday May 11th at 7pm at the Jackson Middle School Cafeteria. Swimsuits will be there to try on.

We have some events coming up in May to add to your calendars!!!!

🍨 Ice cream social at Jackson Middle School- this is to invite new middle schoolers to join the team. The more current team members who are willing to come to share with the interested middle schoolers about the team, the better. The details are: Wednesday, May 6th from 3:15-4 pm at the pool entrance. This is the same day that Jackson is having their Art and Academic Expo so there should be a lot of parents and students around. Current swimmers and divers please come and share your excitement about the team!

🩱 Parent meeting and suit try-on- Monday, May 11th in the Jackson Middle School Cafeteria at 7 pm. We will share information on the upcoming season, answer questions, ask for volunteers for our booster board, have suits for the athletes to try on, and in general start to get prepared for the fall season.
