🗓 Mark your calendars! Our Great Authors at the Library series returns this fall with Maggie Su on August 13, Sonali Dev on September 10, and James McBride on October 8.

Coming up first is Maggie Su, author of Blob: A Love Story (Harper, 2025), named one of The New Yorker's Best Books of 2025. Books will be available for purchase and a book signing will follow her presentation.

📣 Our children’s play areas at the Main Library and Douglass Branch have some exciting new features!

At the Main Library, young visitors can experience our brand-new Seasons Tree, a fun, interactive tree with moveable leaves that change with the seasons.

At the Douglass Branch, children can enjoy our new play area featuring a light table, balance bar, and interactive magnet wall. Visit both branches to explore these exciting new additions!✨

🇺🇸 In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, community members are invited to experience a special exhibit titled Forging Liberty: The Road to Independence.

On display June 18–21 at the Champaign Public Library, this special exhibition features 21 authentic founding-era documents and artifacts, many of which are being displayed publicly for the first time.
