PRISM Lab at UIUC The Personal Relationships, Interpersonal Stress, and Mindfulness (PRISM) Lab is a research group led by Dr. Heidemarie Laurent at UIUC's Psychology Dept.

The Personal Relationships, Interpersonal Stress, and Mindfulness (PRISM) lab is a research group headed by Dr. Heidemarie Laurent, Assistant Professor in the UIUC Clinical-Community Psychology program. We are currently looking for mothers 28-32 weeks gestation to join our paid study, contact us to find out how!! We study the development of stress regulation and dysregulation within families. Our ultimate goal is to understand links in the chain by which stress-related mental disorders (e.g. depression, anxiety) are transmitted across generations, and to guide early screening and intervention to prevent such transmission.
