Fall Semester starts August 24--consider auditing a class, or taking one for graduate credit!

This fall, Dr. Todd Daly is teaching two courses: Theology 1 and Theology and Contemporary Culture. Both courses are being offered over zoom and can be taking for graduate credit or audited. This fall, guest instructor Luke Hersche will be teaching "Gospel Centered Application of Scripture," a course that will encourage students to understanding the gospel in Scripture, and then to apply it in everyday life. It's especially aimed at Christian leaders and teachers, but everyone is welcome to take it for credit or as auditors. The class will be on Tuesday evenings, 6-8. This summer's reading program is about to wrap up! Remember to send your filled-out form to Dr. Green ([email protected]) by end of the day Friday! If you have read five books, you will be entered into a drawing for one of three book lover's baskets with all sorts of fun things for book lovers! If you have read ten books, you will not only be entered into the drawing, but you will also get a couple of more goodies, as well as a reading program certificate, an invitation to an old-fashioned ice cream social in September, and a certificate that gives you a discount on one course! So, don't forget to send in your reading program sheet!

Exciting News! Dr. Bryan Mead, who earned his Master of Arts in Religion from Urbana Seminary in 2014 has edited a book that will be published in September! And there is more! Dr. Pearce Durst, who is teaching a class on the book-to-film Silence this coming Friday evening and Saturday all day, wrote a chapter of it! Dr. Durst's article is titled “Watching the Central Miracle with C. S. Lewis: Christmas and Xmas Movies.” Registration for this weekend's class is technically closed, but if you email our Academic Dean, Dr. Green ([email protected]), she can still get you into the class.
