Because this is a class that focuses on applying theological concepts to specific things in the news, it is a little different every time he teaches it! The class will focus on how the story of Christ can be found throughout the Bible, focusing specifically on how pastors and teachers can use this approach to scripture to shape their preaching/teaching. Did you know that Timothy was in Ephesus when Paul wrote to him? This fall, Dr. Cuffey is offering a class that will explore the letters of Paul to Timothy, and how the city of Ephesus creates a context for understanding these letters. The class will also examine the passages in Acts that are relevant to Timothy's time in this ancient city. A special concern will also be the relevance of these to Christian leaders today.
