With the semester coming to an end, LAS hosted a farewell BBQ for exchange students to celebrate the memories, friendships, and experiences shared throughout their time at Illinois 💙🧡
From food and games to lots of laughter, we’re so grateful to have shared this semester with such an amazing group of students. While we’re sad to say goodbye, we hope you take the Illinois spirit home with you. 🌎🫶

Business beyond the classroom 🇧🇷✨
From São Paulo to Salvador to Rio, BUS 199 Gies Honors Brazil brought global business to life through immersive learning, meaningful conversations, and real-world experience.
Students explored how business, culture, and community intersect in one of the world’s most dynamic emerging economies.
Through faculty-led workshops, company visits, cultural experiences, and community engagement, learning extended far beyond lectures. Music, food, history, and shared moments built connection, perspective, and a deeper understanding of what it means to work across cultures.
