One of the biggest challenges teachers are concerned with right now is engagement. It’s possible that students aren’t engaging with classroom content because the curricula, materials, and instructional methods don’t fully meet the diverse needs of each learner. Differentiated instruction could be the missing piece.
Beginning February 7th, join SchoolWorks’ consultants Cindy Duffy and Kevin Seymour for a four-part, virtual, weekly series that covers all the ins and outs of differentiation and how it can be incorporated into every classroom. For more information and to register, visit bit.ly/3lNuGs6

A common complaint among teachers is that they don't have enough time to: plan, collaborate, differentiate, develop curriculum, come up with new ideas...the list goes on.
But there's hope! Check out this video from Ditch That Textbook to see how the Artificial Intelligence tool ChatGPT can be utilized for a variety of classroom purposes, giving teachers more of what they don't have. Time. (Special Education teachers, pay close attention at the 4-minute mark to have your mind absolutely blown 😉)
What are some ways you've used AI in the classroom to enhance the learning experience for your students? Let us know in the comments!

The questions you ask show how much you care. Model for your kids how they should be thinking about and reflecting on what happened at school. (And show them what thoughtful, intentional conversation looks and sounds like.) ❤️
These are great conversation prompts to use with kids!

A classroom should be a place where students feel safe, welcomed, and respected. One of the best ways to foster community is by giving students the space to share about themselves and learn about others. This simple, effective activity works with all ages, encourages storytelling and listening, and positively impacts the classroom environment for the entire school year. When students know more about who they're learning with, they're more likely to want to do it. Oh, and make sure you model by going first 😉
Try this out and let us know how it went!
