Rho Epsilon is the Student Real Estate Association at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. It provides students with weekly events with guest speakers from the Midwest who are in the Real Estate industry, as well as social events, networking events and scholarship opportunities. Founded in 1954, the University of Illinois Rho Epsilon Chapter has approximately 1,800 alumni who are actively involved with the organization.

Today marks the Seventh Annual Rho Epsilon/Illini Real Estate Forum Luncheon.
Our President, Rebecca Palmer, received the Roger Cannaday Scholarship Award. The winning candidate exemplifies a strong professional/educational background in real estate. Furthermore, it is required that the individual holds the desire to pursue a career in real estate. Congratulations to our fearless leader!

Roughly fifty students within our organization had the opportunity to network with prominent individuals in the industry. Thank you to those individuals who sponsored the attendance of our club members. It is greatly appreciated!
This luncheon serves as a primary example of how Rho Epsilon provides the right set of circumstances to network.

We have EXCITING news!
Professor Roger Cannaday has been (and continues to be) the heartbeat of our Real Estate Program. He has marked his 40 years at the University of Illinois.
Professor Cannaday will be throwing out the First Pitch at the Cubs game next Wednesday, June 26th at 7pm! We have blocked off a section at Wrigley and plan to surround him with his beloved Illini.

Rho Epsilon meeting tomorrow night (1/29/19) with Related Midwest VP of Development and VP of Architecture. They plan to discuss the “78”, a $5B development of 62 acres just south of Sear’s Tower! This is an innovative project and a 20-year development.
