Thank you to the Champaign Community Coalition - Walk As One for inviting our National Director, Jenette Jurczyk to speak at the August meeting. We have been so grateful for the support from the community, empowering us to run our summer teen internship for the past 5 years. Our teen ambassador, Rihana Samu shared her experiences as an alum of both That's What Teens Say and the internship, practicing her leadership and speaking skills in real time!

It wouldn't be a She Said Teen Summer Internship without a Celebration for our Interns! The teens took up the challenge of saving the realm - with mini-golf - of course at our newest local family entertainment spot in Urbana!

Congratulations to all 14 of our interns for showing up, working hard, learning new skills and making new friends this summer! We wish you all the best for success this school year!

More exciting pictures from the special Career Workshop Day for the Teen Interns last week, where the interns were able to hear from and interact with Barb Smith, Kerry Rossow, Monica Samii and Krissy Webber! Shoutout to Dish Passionate Cuisine for a wonderful lunch. These young women have really shown up this summer and been a joy to work with.
