Sending a huge thank you to the Red Bud Musketeers Booster Association for providing our sectional qualifiers and coaches with an amazing lunch yesterday!! We appreciate all of your support this year!

Shout out to RBHS sophomore Danny Jackson! He traveled to Virginia Beach this weekend for NHSCA High School Nationals and placed 3rd and received an All American award. This is one of the toughest tournaments out there! Congrats Danny!!

Congrats to Tyler Nolan!!! He brought home 4th place from IWCOA freshman/sophomore state this weekend!!

We wrapped up with 2025-26 season with our Wrestling Awards Banquet. We recognized the hard work and accomplishments of our athletes.

-Danny Jackson – 5th Place at the IHSA State Tournament, Sectional Qualifier, Most Pins, Most Valuable Wrestler, and 1st Team All-Conference
-Tyler Nolan – Sectional Qualifier and 1st Team All-Conference
-Landon Fausz – Sectional Qualifier
-Jayden Laughlin – Most Improved Wrestler

We are proud of everything they accomplished and the way they represented our program. 💪🤼‍♂️

Congrats to our very own, Danny Jackson and Kiersten Wegener!!

Congratulations to our Athletes of the Month, Kiersten Wegener and Danny Jackson. Kiersten is a senior captain for the cheer squad. Kiersten was nominated for the motivation and leadership that she provides for her teammates, ensuring that practice time is valued and taken seriously. Coach Friess also highlighted the assistance Kiersten provides with JV student-athletes. Danny is a sophomore wrestler and two-time IHSA State medalist. Danny serves as co-captain for the team and leads by example, setting the standard for his teammates with his hard work and positive attitude. According to Coach Schloemann, Danny “exemplifies what it means to be a dedicated student-athlete.” Thanks to Jena Gibbs of EXP Realty and Liz Russell of Southside Strength and Conditioning for supporting the Musketeers.
