Dr Howard Elementary School PTA

If you’re not busy on a beautiful day like today. Some of us are heading downtown in front of the grove restaurant to watch Mr. Washington play some music!

As some of you know, our fearless, amazing principal is leaving us, to go on a new adventure in life. The PTA presented a plaque to Mrs. Turner today, for all her hard work and dedication to our community, school, staff, families and our children. We will miss you Sammie Turner. Good luck in the future!

So sorry for the delay, but obviously due to rain the play date at the park was canceled. I’m not sure we will have a make up day.

A sweet coffee drink, or an iced cold lemonade this morning for our teachers and staff here at Dr. Howard! Huge shout out to Lucy with Travelin’ Tom’s coffee for making some amazing coffee this morning!

Join us for our last PTA meeting tonight at 6 pm. We will be talking least days of school, play date at the park, and just celebrating a successful year!!

Wednesday we had lunch brought in for teachers and staff from Texas Roadhouse. Yumm! Thank you Texas Roadhouse for feeding our most deserving people!

Thursday we gave the teachers and staff a chance for 10 minute massages thanks to Body Works! Everyone I talked to throughout the day said it was amazing! Shout out to Sarah from Body Works for giving everyone the chance for an amazing relaxing moment during the day!

Today’s surprise for our teachers and staff were handmade tote bags by our very own pta secretary Lexie Just and her sweet momma. They turned out amazing and EVERYONE LOVES THEM!!

I didn’t get one picture of our sweet treat today for Teacher Appreciation Week, but let me tell you these Dr. Howard teachers and staff LOVED ice cream form ICE DADDYS ice cream truck today!!
