Hi, all! A reminder to please join us for our tour with the Rare Book and Manuscript Library (RBML) this Friday (October 25) at 10 AM. We will be viewing some of their materials and see the new Haunting the Phantoms exhibit for Halloween! RBML is located on the third floor (Room 346) on the north side of the Main Library (1408 W. Gregory Drive). We hope to see you there!

Happy American Archives Month!

Hello, archives friends! Welcome (back) to another semester of SAA meetings. We are excited to be back and to welcome you all to our first general meeting of the semester. Our first general meeting is this Friday (Sept. 6) at 5:15 PM. We will be in the 5th-floor multipurpose room (5043) of the new iSchool building (614 E Daniel) and on Zoom.

SAA member Erin Jochum has spent the summer completing a practicum at Illinois State University. Erin has been working on an archival processing project with a former professor at the Dr. JoAnn Rayfield Archives.

Chapter President Katie Higley has spent the summer interning at the Michigan Tech Archives in Houghton, Michigan. She has enjoyed gaining new experiences in the field and living in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
