Splash! was first held by Massachussetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2005, and as of the previous school year, has expanded to the UIUC campus.

On Saturday, October 24th, 2015, hundreds of high schoolers from around the country will come to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to participate in Splash! @ UIUC. Splash is an event that allows high schoolers to take a day of college classes taught by undergrads - all at no cost to them. UIUC Students: Please check your email tomorrow for dates and times of our Splash panel. We will be reviewing this year's event and outlining our plans for further training and development this summer. A big hand to all of you for your help!

REMINDER: If you are interested in teaching, there are teaching workshops today and tomorrow in the English Building from 7-8pm. Meet outside room 119.

Note: You do not need to stay the whole event. A minimum of 2 hours class time (one 50-minute class twice or two different 50-minute classes) is required to receive food and/or swag for your shift.

*Edit: Teacher workshops are MANDATORY - training on how to deliver appropriate, quality content in the presence of minors is compulsory.
