Here’s what’s going on this month at L4L Champaign:
Stripe Weeks
It’s Week 8 of the new curriculum cycle! Students can start earning their Blue Stripe for Forms and their Yellow Stripe if they are showing proficiency with Sparring
Reminder for Future Black Belts
Black Belt Rank testing is fast approaching, and we are excited for all our prospective testers!
Please remember that in order to be eligible to test, students must turn in the entire, completed Packet / Application for your Permission to test NO LATER THAN ONE WEEK PRIOR to Testing. In the case of the current test cycle, that means the due date is August 22nd. Keep working hard, and we look forward to celebrating with you all on the 29th!

Tough Tigers can attend on 8/25 at 4:30pm or 8/27 at 5:45pm.
Beginners can attend on 8/25 at 5:45pm or 8/26 at 4:30pm.
Intermediate / Advanced can attend on 8/26 at 6:00pm, or 8/27 at 4:00pm.
Black Belt Graduation will be held on Saturday, 8/29 at 10:00am.

Kali Seminar

Upcoming Tournament Recommendations
Tournaments are a PHENOMENAL learning experience for students. We recommend new competitors prioritize in-Region tournaments for their first time, because it’s always helpful to have an instructor present at your first tournament! You can check out upcoming regional tournaments below:

November 14th, Baraboo, WI
**Be advised, ATA requires students to have Instructor permission to attend tournaments, so please check with your instructor before making travel plans. Also, give us advanced notice so we can ensure your child has the right size Competition Uniform**.
