𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝑨𝑷𝑺: I never saw myself in a sorority. However, starting college during the pandemic made it hard to start new friendships. When I met the sisters of Alpha Pi Sigma on quad day, I made instant connections with the sisters. The more I came around to their events/socials, I knew this was where I wanted to be.

𝑭𝒖𝒏 𝑭𝒂𝒄𝒕: When I was 5, I got stung in the neck by a bee ;-;
𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝑨𝑷𝑺: I felt a strong connection with their philanthropy! I wanted to be a part of an organization that held the same values and advocated for what I am passionate about, with one of the main ones being Autism! I also come from a family of just boys so getting along with girls was not my cup of tea. But, as soon as I met the sisters, I knew that was going to change forever!

𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝑨𝑷𝑺: Coming to UIUC I never really saw myself in greek life, but after meeting sisters I became really comfortable in the environment they created. As an interest, sisters would often check up on me both academically and personally which really drew me to want to be part of this organization. Lastly, the values Alpha Pi Sigma upholds its members to are core values that I want to continue implementing in my everyday life.

𝑭𝒖𝒏 𝑭𝒂𝒄𝒕: I really enjoy making Spotify playlists for my friends and family. Music is definitely one of my love languages!
𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝑨𝑷𝑺: I knew I wanted to be part of a sisterhood that was full of ambitious and professional women. From the moment I met the other sisters through Infinite Legacy and rush events, they have always been so welcoming and inclusive. I was also encouraged by their values on education and wanting to serve the Latinx community.

𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝑨𝑷𝑺: During my sophomore year, I had the opportunity of meeting the women of Alpha Pi Sigma. From the very first meeting, they were genuine and made me feel welcome. After learning more about the sorority, I knew I wanted to be a part of this beautiful sisterhood. Additionally, I admire the way they continuously empower women and help the Latino community.

Our April sister of the month is our incredible president Nicole De Arcos! Thank you for all the hard work you put into running our chapter, we love and appreciate you so much! 🫶🏼💗

Xi chapter wishes our Omicron Line a Happy 1st Alphaversary! Thank you for all the hard work and time you put into chapter as neos this past year, we loved seeing you each grow ever since you crossed. Xi is lucky to have you 💟 1 down and a lifetime to go ♾

It is our pleasure to announce our Calla Lily Scholarship Recipient Isabella Nuñez. Isabella is a high school senior with many outstanding academic achievements. She is grateful to know some of her books and dorm materials will be covered when she starts her freshman year on campus in the fall. Once again congratulations Isabella! We wish you luck in your future endeavors and and amazing freshman year! 💗

Additionally, we would like to thank everyone who came out and supported our Banquet last week. We were so grateful to see you in attendance and thank you for your contributions to our scholarship!

Finally, one last huge thank you to our sister Jacqueline Zamora who is our Scholarship Chair and in charge of organizing the banquet! It was amazing to see this event take place again after so many years it being postponed.

Last night our sisters and the sisters of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc. had a fun time mini golfing! 💗💜⛳️
