Our Spaces
The University of Illinois Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning presents a suite of interdisciplinary learning environments known as the CITL Innovation Spaces within the Armory building. These Innovation Spaces encompass the Innovation Studio, TechHub and Virtual Reality Lab.
The Innovation Studio is a 24 seat classroom that functions as a project-based learning lab with its many technological projection capabilities. Next door stands the Virtual Reality Lab which provides a full immersive room-scale experience with our HTC VIVE. In the North hall is the TechHub, this space allows for the exploration and experimentation of many of the latest technology and its recreational and educational uses. Combined these spaces offer unique teaching and learning opportunities for hands-on collaboration in technology-rich environments.
