Parents, we need you! Help serve our amazing teachers on Conference and Hispanic Heritage Night and make the evening extra special. Grab a spot and join the fun!

Our teachers and administrators will have an extended day for Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 15. To keep their energy up for conferences, CMSEF is providing a meal to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and coincide with CMS's Hispanic Heritage Celebration. We need volunteers to help serve and clean up. Thank you!

Questions? Contact our CMSEF Director of Staff Support at [email protected].

Help Stock and Refresh the Staff Breakrooms
We want to fill all four staff breakrooms with snacks, drinks, and other goodies for our staff to enjoy during the school year. The lounges also need a refresh; volunteer your time to clean and update these spaces!

Help Feed Our Teachers on Curriculum Night
Thursday, September 17th is Curriculum Night, and it will be a very long day for our teachers and staff.

Before Curriculum Night begins, we want to give our teachers a meal and some snacks so they can take a break and recharge before meeting with families.

Want to get more involved at Chamblee Middle? Here’s a great way to make a difference. 💙💛

CMSEF is looking for our next Treasurer! We welcome parents, grandparents, and community members who are organized, comfortable with finances, and want to support our students and school. No CPA required!

What will you do?
• Help oversee the Foundation’s finances
• Track income and expenses
• Share simple financial updates with the board
• Help keep our financial records organized

The time commitment is manageable: we meet one Friday a month at 7:30 AM.

It’s a great opportunity to get involved, meet other members of the Chamblee community, and put your skills to work for our school.

CMS parents — want to directly support your child’s teachers and classrooms? 🐾

Join us this Saturday for the Bulldog Dash 5K! Every registration supports the Chamblee Middle School Education Foundation, which funds the resources teachers and students use every day.

This year alone, the Education Foundation funds have helped provide:
📚 Books for 8th grade classes
➗ Classroom calculators
💻 Learning tools like IXL, BrainPop, and BookWidgets
🧠 Professional development for our school psychologist
🎬 Educational film licensing for classroom learning

Last school year, the Foundation invested over $31,000 in CMS through classroom resources, technology, books, security enhancements, and teacher development.

It’s a fun community event — and one of the easiest ways to support our school.
