The Elaine Clark Center has grown and changed over the years. Its guiding idea remains: meet people and families where they are with individualized care.
Today, 40–50 children are enrolled year-round across three program areas. During summer camp, that number grows to about 80.
Our 15,000-square-foot facility includes a gym, classrooms, sensory and therapy rooms, and a beautiful vegetable garden cared for by the Christ Child Society. A nurse and social worker support our children and families, too.
I don’t know what Sister Robert Therese would think if she could see the Center today. I hope she would recognize the care and compassion at its heart—the roots of the work she began more than 55 years ago.
