Growing Tree Preschool offers part time preschool programming to our communities in Chambersburg, Greencastle, and Waynesboro. growingtreepreschool.org.

Growing Tree is a ministry partnership between Shalom Christian Academy and local churches. Growing Tree Preschool (GTP) serves the Chambersburg/Waynesboro/Greencastle PA area. We strive to provide a positive, Christ-centered, stimulating environment for children ages three (3) to five (5). We offer classes two mornings a week for 3 & 4 year-olds and three half days a week for 4 & 5 year-olds. Children need to be age eligible by September 1 and potty trained. It is strongly recommended that children attend a three day class prior to entering Kindergarten. There are five locations available:
Marion Mennonite Church
King Street UB Church
Christian Life AOG Church
Hollowell BIC Church
Five Forks BIC Church

B is for Bear! 🐻
Our Growing Tree preschoolers went on a bear hunt and practiced sorting colors with friends! These playful activities helped our little learners explore the letter B, recognize colors, and build friendships along the way.

Can your little one find something at home that starts with B? 🔎 Post a photo in the comments below!

Little Feet, Big Impact! 👟

Growing Tree families, let’s aim for 100% participation in Race for Education! Every family can help by inviting friends and loved ones to support our little learners.

Participation is about getting involved—not how much you raise. Every invitation, shared message, and donation helps us work toward our goal together! 💚

Take the next step: Share your child’s fundraising information with family and friends and tag them below! https://www.growingtreepreschool.org/our-school/race

A is for Apple! 🍎
Our Growing Tree preschoolers enjoyed a tasty apple exploration! They sampled red, green and yellow apples, apple butter, apples with caramel dip and apple c***r. What a delicious way to explore colors, discover new flavors, and practice describing what we taste!

What’s your family’s favorite way to enjoy apples? 🍏
