The 'there are no graves here: the work of Mathew Samuel' exhibition is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., through Jan. 29 in the Bogigian Gallery in Lortz Hall.

This special exhibition is a tribute to the work of artist and educator Mathew Samuel, who died July 26, 2026, at age 49.

The exhibition's title reflects a central theme of his work and life: the belief that influence, love and human connection transcend physical loss. It is free and open to the public.

Happy Founder's Day!

Today, we celebrate the founders of Wilson College and its most generous donor: Sarah Wilson, Dr. Tryon Edwards and Rev. James W. Wightman.

Edwards and Wightman approached Sarah Wilson with a vision for a new college for women and sought her financial support to help secure a campus location. Wilson's generosity made possible the purchase of Norland Hall, laying the foundation for what would become the Wilson College community we know today.
