Important Homecoming Parade info for any students planning to attend:

-Parade starts at CAMS South: (1151 E McKinley St, Chambersburg)
-Please do not arrive at the CAMS South parking lot until after 4:30pm.
-Only the floats and participants are allowed in the parking lot.
-Please have all your floats and participants ready to go by 5:40pm.
-Kick off for the parade is at 6pm.
-The parade will travel down McKinley St. and will end at the CASHS student parking lot across from the stadium.
-When you pull into the student parking lot, please pull to the back of the parking lot to unload and tear down.
-DO NOT stop when you pull into the student parking lot and allow the students to be unloaded. In the past, this has been a major issue and ends up backing up the entire parade.

And the winner is.....1-2 Mrs. Richard's class!!! In a surprising upset, they brought in more than DOUBLE the amount of candy in one day, securing their win of Falling Spring's 2026 Candy Wars.

Mrs. Bowen's class came in second place for their steady efforts all week long. Honorable mentions include Mrs. Dougal's, Mrs. Patterson's, and Mrs. Kauffman's classes.

As a school, we brought in 571 POUNDS of treats and toys! WOW! Collectively, this is an estimated value of about $4,000, meaning the PTO can use our funds for more in our school without taking away from current or future activities. ❤

THANK YOU to all of our families for your support! Whether you donated, spread the word, or helped in any way, we truly appreciate your contribution. We are so grateful for all of our Falcons, and we hope the kids had fun enjoying some friendly competition along the way!

Do we have some competition going at Falling Spring or what!? A lot of the classes really stepped up their game bringing in pounds and pounds of candy in an attempt to steal 1st place from Miss Bowen's class. But those second graders are in it to win it and managed to keep their lead on Day 4 of Candy Wars!

Right behind them is now Mrs. Patterson's class, jumping from 5th to 2nd place, proving that it is still anyone's game! Following closely are Mrs. Dougal's, Mrs. Kauffman's, and Mrs. Richard's classes.

As a school, we have collected 376 pounds of treats so far! Thank you all for helping us make our fall activities extra sweet!
