Mrs. Bell & Mrs. Rosenberry had a fun-filled week with their campers! They brought stories to life by painting birdhouses & larger than life flowers, made giant bubbles, read fun books that sparked their imaginations, and oh so much more!
Campers loved making new friends and sharing wonderful experiences together, creating memories that will last long after the week has ended. ❤️
🎨🧪 Art Camp Day 3: Exploding with Color! 🧪🎨
Today, our little artists turned into mad scientists for Color Theory Day! 🧠✨
We started by learning all about our three primary colors, and then we took that knowledge straight to the Color Science Lab. We exploded balloons to mix those primary colors together and watch new colors appear right before our eyes! 🎈💥
Armed with our new color mixing skills, we painted giant, vibrant color wheels to show off everything we learned today! 🎨
After snack time, we headed back out to the playground to soak up some more beautiful summer fun in the sun! ☀️🛝
It’s hard to believe tomorrow is already our final day! We can't wait for one last day of camp masterpieces. 🎒❤️

🎨✨ Art Camp Day 2: Where Feelings Meet Creativity! ✨🎨
Today was all about discovering that artists put a piece of their heart and feelings into everything they create! ❤️ We started our day by making the sweetest Scribble Stones to express our big imaginations. 🪨🖍️
During centers, our little artists turned into design detectives! We explored how artists create everything around us, from the posters on the walls and the patterns on our water bottles, to the jewelry we wear and the decorations in our homes. Inspired by our discovery, everyone got to work crafting their very own custom jewelry and a beautiful Fourth of July decoration for their homes! 🇺🇸💍✨
After a quick snack break, we took full advantage of having an empty school! We burned off some major energy with some super fun scooter rides up and down the school hallways! 🛴💨
We are so proud of our little creators and can’t wait to see what Day 3 brings! 🎒🌟

🎨✨Art Camp Day 1 was a masterpiece! ✨🎨
Today, Mrs. Heverley and Mrs. Florea‘s art camp kicked off with just one little spark of imagination! We started our morning soaking up the warmth of summer and transformed the pavement into a giant, colorful sidewalk chalk obstacle course, pulling some amazing doodles straight from our brains! ☀️🖍️
Once those creative juices were flowing, we headed inside to tackle our very first canvas masterpieces. Our little artists explored their creative sides using mixed media combining crayons, markers, colored pencils, and paint to make something truly unique! 🖼️👩🎨👨🎨
After all that hard work, we recharged with a much-needed snack break and wrapped up our day with some fun playground time. 🍉🛝
We are so excited for all the new masterpieces our campers are going to create this week, and we can't wait to see how special each and every student's imagination is! Stay tuned for more colorful updates! 🎒❤️

Mrs. Etter and Mrs. Rosenberry’s MWF class loved spending the day with a St. John’s Nursery School alum. They learned all about kindergarten, listened to special stories, and ate lunch together!
