I am sitting outside for my lunch break on this incredibly beautiful day! Which is why I thought it was appropriate to share these incredibly gorgeous pictures of Alyssa!
I had the pleasure of meeting Alyssa in person for the first time at our session together, and I enjoyed every minute of it! She was super easy to pose because she just knew what to do! I absolutely loved our time together and I am thrilled with the result!!!

Yesterday, I had the super special opportunity to take my bestie’s maternity pictures! This gorgeous little family, Jake, Mere and baby Coop are going to be welcoming a sweet little baby girl into their family in September! We can’t wait!!! And I think their pictures turned out perfectly, especially because Coop did so great! 😍

Sometimes, I am blessed with the opportunity to do multiple sessions with one of my seniors! My girl, Cora, rocked out a fall session and a spring session, both were super duper fun, and both of her sessions were stunning!
Cora, I thoroughly enjoyed all of the time we got to spend together and I wish you nothing but amazing experiences at Pitt-Johnstown!!! I can’t wait for our next reason to take pictures together! ♥️♥️♥️

I had the honor and privilege of taking this beautiful little ladies, senior pictures! I have been taking her family pictures for several years and had always hoped that I would have the opportunity to take her senior pictures! Lilly is the sweetest soul and she makes every opportunity that we have worked together one that I will not forget!

Senior Four Season Post!

Sometimes you get the opportunity in life as a photographer to have friends who have their family photos taken with you over the years so you get to see their babies grow from littles to beautiful grown up kiddos. My friends, the Kauffman family, have afforded me that luxury, and today, their gorgeous daughter Lilly turns the big Sweet 16! Happy Birthday Lilly! You are kind and strong and determined! As I have told so many young, lovely ladies like you, if only you could see yourself as the rest of the world sees you! ♥️ I hope you have a day today as special as you are!

Do you know how you know that you are extra thankful for someone?! When this isn’t your first gratitude post for them and you struggled to find the perfect pictures to post of them!

I am so thankful for you and your daily inspiration! I am so thankful for your constant reminder, likely without even realizing, to be comfortable and confident in my own skin. You have taught me so many things since we have become the best of friends, obviously for starters…SO. MANY. SKILLS!! One being incredibly enhancing my photography skills, but another, which has been something I’m so grateful for!!!! You crossed something off my bucket list that’s been on there since I was 13 years old! Not only did you TEACH me to sew, but you made me fall in love with it! I am so thankful that nearly everything you’ve taught me we get to do together! I am so thankful for your constant encouragement and our adventures-big and small! I’m so thankful that you make me want to wake up and be better everyday! I am thankful for all of the words we share! I am thankful for you Andrea! I love you!

He may be 4th in line on my series posts, but that is not because I am less thankful for this man. As a matter of fact, if he was being honest, he’d be the first to say in almost any situation, “the kids come first”. And that’s just one of the many reasons I love him and I’m thankful for him. For my husband, Shawn Gilbert, I am so thankful for the incredibly hard working man that he is. I have the biggest ideas that I love to start, and am famous for not finishing, and I am so thankful for that voice of his saying, “hey let’s get this done.” I am so thankful for his ability to figure out how to fix things! I watched this tik tok the other day, it was this older brother giving advice to his younger sister about guys that she shouldn’t date….he said, if he can’t change a tire, he ain’t the one sis. 🤣 Not only can he fix a flat, but he pulls over to fix flats for folks along the road who don’t know how ♥️ he also said, if he walks beside you on the sidewalk, but isn’t walking on the appropriate side, he ain’t the one sis. How did I get so lucky?! The funny thing is, I didn’t even know that was a requirement when I met Shawn, he had to teach me! I am so thankful for this man! I am thankful that he loves his kids, I am thankful that he wants the very best life for them, I am thankful that he is such a helpful husband and I am so very very thankful that he always knows I need a coffee. ☕️♥️

In our family, it generally goes oldest to youngest. So, obviously, next in the series is my little man. Most people could tell you they’ve heard Liaem often referred to as my little person, of which I am thankful for. I can remember a work day I had back when life was “normal” when we, like, went to work, and I had a really, really great day. I arrived at somebody’s field after work, and immediately there was drama, you know, just regular life, somebody forgot their cleats, and people didn’t have everything they needed and husbands were frustrated, and my little person looked at me and said, “Mom, do you want to leave, just me and you, and go have dinner, and just keep the good going?” 😍And that folks, is where my thankfulness begins with this little human. He just gets me! I am so thankful for his incredible imagination! I am so thankful for his kindness and his ability to make everyone in the room feel included. I am so thankful for his constant willingness to help! His sister and I are both so thankful that he is still the snuggle bug of the family! ♥️ I love this little man! ♥️

Up next in my series, is this kid! I am so thankful for this boy who makes me laugh all day long, whose passion for life and people and sports and bikes and movement never stops! I’m thankful that Gage is kind, I’m thankful that as a young teen, he willingly helps others and I’m thankful that he still likes me when all the mom blogs said he wouldn’t at his age. I am thankful that everyday when he gets off the bus he says “how was work today mom?” I love this kid! ♥️
