Shalom Christian Academy is pleased to welcome Neil Rotz to Shalom Christian Academy as our new Varsity Golf Coach. Coach Rotz began playing golf in childhood and then played three years for Chambersburg Area Senior High School. Coach Rotz and his wife Ginger have three children who attend Shalom - Rylie, Cael, and Trace. He serves as the Business Manager at the Franklin County Career & Technology Center and their family attends King Street Church. "I'm excited to share my love of the game of golf with the students as well as developing character traits that will be a part of their lives beyond golf," he said. Welcome Coach Rotz!

The Secondary Principal provides spiritual, instructional, and operational leadership for grades 6–12. The principal fosters a Christ-centered learning community that promotes academic excellence, spiritual formation, student well-being, and professional growth among faculty and staff.

A master's degree in educational leadership or a related field and prior leadership experience are preferred. A bachelor's degree in secondary education or a related field is required.

Candidates must demonstrate a vibrant Christian faith, active involvement in a local church, and a commitment to integrating biblical principles throughout all aspects of school leadership.

KINGDOM QUEST CAMP 👑
Camp leaders and staff witnessed students not only hear biblical truth, but experience it in a way that made it real. Campers discovered that quiet time with God is not boring, but powerful. They prayed, reflected, worshiped, encouraged one another, and began to better understand who God created them to be.

Some campers conquered climbing walls and zip lines, while others found the courage to sit still before the Lord and listen. Both were meaningful victories.

Parents also shared how their children continued talking about camp at home and how the experience carried beyond the activities themselves.

Kingdom Quest Camp highlighted a powerful reminder: God is moving in this generation.

THE MIKE SHAKER SCHOLARSHIP🎉
Congratulations to rising Senior Shay Kane, recipient of the Mike Shaker Scholarship! This $500 scholarship is awarded to a student-athlete who exemplifies integrity, invests time and effort into developing their skills, pursues their sport with passion, and demonstrates leadership both on and off the field.

We are proud of Shay and grateful to honor the legacy of Mike Shaker by recognizing students who reflect these qualities. Congratulations, Shay!

WE ARE HIRING: SECONDARY BIBLE TEACHER 💙
The teacher in this full-time position will teach Bible classes that include Old Testament and New Testament topics. Additionally, it includes teaching Biblical life applications. A college degree is required, preferably with an education degree. Individuals who do not hold an education degree may apply. This position requires a strong Biblical background with an understanding of the Anabaptist perspective.
