How do you know if you are an odd or an even?

Well, if you expect to graduate in an odd-numbered year, you’re an Odd. If you expect to graduate in an even-numbered year, you’re an Even. Odds are represented by black and red, while Evens are represented by blue and green.

This tradition stirs up some friendly competition!

On Friday, I had the pleasure of addressing our faculty and staff at a town hall which was followed by hosting my annual Lawn Party, welcoming our wonderful faculty, staff and their families to Sharpe House for an evening of good food, conversation and community. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the people who make Wilson such a special place as we get ready to begin a new academic year.

I’m so grateful for all that our faculty and staff do for our students and for Wilson. Here’s to a great semester ahead! 💙🖤💙

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of joining the Rotary Club of Chambersburg to share some of the exciting things happening at Wilson College.

One of the great privileges of serving as Wilson’s president is representing Chambersburg’s hometown college in the community we call home. Wilson has been part of the fabric of Chambersburg for 157 years, and I’m always grateful for opportunities to spend time with people who care so deeply about our community and its future—and to share the many ways Wilson and our students are contributing to that future.

A new chapter begins at Kris’s Meadow! I’m thrilled for our student-athletes and coaches who will practice and compete on our new turf field—home to women’s and men’s soccer, women’s lacrosse and, now, field hockey.

Join us on Sept. 1 as field hockey takes on Sweet Briar College in the first home game on the new turf!

We are deeply grateful to our alumnae, alumni, families, friends, and supporters whose generosity continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.

Your contributions totaled nearly $7 million during fiscal year 2026, including more than $2 million raised through the Wilson Fund, the College's annual giving program, which is the highest amount raised for the Fund in the College’s history.

Every gift to the College, regardless of size, strengthens the Wilson experience and creates opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and succeed.

Please take a moment to listen to my message of gratitude and acknowledge all the donors on the Wilson website, which can be accessed through my link in the comments.

What happens on Wednesdays at Wilson College?

Wilson Wednesdays, of course! Wear blue and show off your favorite Wilson gear for the first Wilson Wednesday on Sept. 2.

I'm so glad to call Chambersburg home for Wilson College. Like Wilson, it has a historic identity, beautiful scenery, hardworking people and numerous events to involve the community. I can't wait for our Wilson students to return in a couple months and enjoy this lovely place.

In her latest letter, Miss Scarlet shared several pieces of helpful advice for incoming and returning students. She's asking alumnae, alumni and friends to share their own advice for Wilson's incoming class!
