Loving Minds Learning Center (In home childcare) is a home away from home that provides quality care by offering children a stimulating and nurturing environment. Our curriculum “Learn through Play” allows the children to explore and understand the world around them. Learning through Play lets the children develop social and cognitive skills, mature emotionally, and gain the self-confidence they n

eed for “big” school. I do age-appropriate learning activities throughout the day that helps the student meet their developmental milestones. St. Bernard Parish Public School District is one of the few districts in the state to offer a universal, tuition-free four year old preschool program.

This program is for all children residing in the parish who will be four years of age by September 30, 2021.

Preschool classes are located at all seven St. Bernard Parish Public School elementary schools.

The classes follow the Louisiana Birth to Five Early Learning and Development Standards (ELDS) and are taught by certified teachers who are assisted by trained paraprofessionals.
