🏆❤️🤍💙 OLPS PATRIOTS CHEER — FIRST PLACE! ❤️🤍💙🏆

Congratulations to our OLPS Patriots Cheerleaders on their incredible 1st Place victory!

This season was not without its challenges. Through trials, injuries, setbacks, and even a literal last-minute Hail Mary, these athletes never lost their heart or their determination. When it mattered most, they showed up, showed out, left it all on the mat, and HIT ZERO!

Your resilience, teamwork, and Patriot pride were on full display, and we could not be more proud of the way you represented OLPS. Champions aren’t just defined by the trophy — they’re defined by the grit, faith, and perseverance it takes to get there.

A special congratulations to our incredible coaches, Mrs. Amber and Mrs. Bonny, whose dedication, leadership, and belief in this team helped make this moment possible. Your hard work behind the scenes and constant encouragement pushed these athletes to be their very best.

Way to go, Patriots! 💙📣

📣 Teacher Shout Out! 📣

Today we’re shining the spotlight on one of our fabulous 3rd Grade teachers, Mrs. Ibay!

Mrs. Ibay might technically teach 3rd grade… but let’s be honest, she enjoys so many other responsibilities. As our Elementary Team Lead and Director of Student Life & Media Relations, she’s the brain behind some of the many things you see happening at OLPS (and probably the reason your Facebook feed is full of Patriot pride).

And when she’s not teaching, planning, organizing, posting, or leading… she’s also helping bring the spirit as one of our OLPS Cheer Moderators! 📣

From the classroom, to campus events, to the sidelines cheering on our Patriots — Mrs. Ibay does it all with energy, creativity, and just the right amount of sass.

We’re so lucky to have someone who pours so much heart, leadership, and Patriot spirit into our school every single day.

❤️💙 Thanks for all you do, Mrs. Ibay! Our Patriots wouldn’t be the same without you! Drop a comment to show some love!💙❤️

✨📚 Once upon a time… there was a magical school called OLPS! 📚✨

Our teachers and staff are the heroes of our story — guiding, inspiring, and loving our students every single day. During Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week (March 23–27), we want to help create a happily ever after for the amazing people who make our school so special.

We invite our OLPS families to sprinkle a little pixie dust of gratitude throughout the week:

🧋 Monday (Mar 23): Bring your teacher or staff member their favorite drink
🌸 Tuesday (Mar 24): Draw or bring a flower for a special teacher or staff member
💌 Wednesday (Mar 25): Write a card or letter thanking someone who makes a difference
🍪 Thursday (Mar 26): Help defeat mid-week hunger with their favorite snack
🎁 Friday (Mar 27): Surprise them with an item from their Amazon Wish List

💫 Want to help make the magic even bigger?
If you or a business you know would like to sponsor a meal, gift, or treat for our teachers and staff, we would love your support!

📧 Email [email protected] for more information.

Let’s work together to make this week truly magical for the incredible teachers and staff who pour their hearts into OLPS every day. ❤️💙

🙏 A Beautiful Morning at Mass 🙏

This morning, our school gathered together for a beautiful Mass led by Father Andy. During his homily, he reminded us of an important truth: no matter our status in life, our path to eternal life is found by living a life led by God. It was a powerful reminder for all of us to continue striving to live our faith each day.

A special thank you to our 5th Grade students who served as readers, banner holders, and gift bearers. You helped make today’s Mass especially meaningful.

Thank you to our choir for leading us in song and helping fill the church with beautiful music. 🎶

We are also grateful for our altar servers, Eucharistic ministers, and acolyte who assisted during Mass today.

And of course, thank you to our teachers who help prepare our students and to everyone working behind the scenes to ensure that our school Masses run smoothly and safely.

Moments like these remind us how blessed we are to come together in faith as a school community. 💙🙏
