Today our Jr. Leader Club traded in their everyday routine to play tourist in the one and only New Orleans! 💚⚜️

Our adventure kicked off with a ride on the iconic St. Charles streetcar before cooling off with some delicious ice cream from Kilwins. 🍦 Next, we made a sweet stop at Café du Monde for beignets and snacks, then took a stroll through the French Market to browse the local shops and soak in the atmosphere. We wrapped up the day with a classic Louisiana lunch at Rocky & Carlo’s! 😋

It was a day full of great food, fun memories, and experiencing some of the best local spots our state has to offer. Thanks to our Jr. Leaders for making it such a great day! 🍀

4-H University 2026 was a great time for St. Bernard Parish and we came home decorated!

🧬 Kathryn Dinet - elected to our state STEM Board
🏅Christian Miller - 7th place Civic Engagement Illustrated Talk
🏅Alayna Mendel - 4th place STEM Illustrated Talk
🏅Kelsey Hambrice - 6th place Child Development

Other members participated in several educational sessions, participating in hands on learning! Our seniors also got special recognition. We already can’t wait for next year!

Good morning everyone! Here are a few snapshots from our last hours at 4-H Camp! Due to the weather we are expecting tomorrow, we will be departing camp TODAY after lunchtime. Our expected arrival back to the government complex is about 5-6 PM. I will be in touch throughout the day. Please continue to check for updates in GroupMe. This decision was not made lightly, thank you for understanding. We are making travel as safe as possible for our campers.
