Earlier this week we had the pleasure of hosting the LACRAO Articulation Workshop in the STCCC on the Nunez campus. More than 100 high school counselors and 25 college recruiters were welcomed to campus with a hot breakfast and a quick update from Chancellor Tinney on the many exciting developments happening at Nunez Community College. We want to wish all of our peers and colleagues in the Louisiana Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers a successful academic year!

We had another great meeting today as we continue laying the groundwork for an effort that has been a long time coming for St. Bernard Parish.

We’re proud to share the new identity of St. Bernard FORWARD - a unified effort built on a shared commitment to our parish and the courage to help shape its future.

Hey Pelican, Fans! It’s time to rally the flock and support the 2026/27 Nunez Community College Baseball Team!

Our student-athletes work hard both on the field and in the classroom throughout the year. This fundraiser is your opportunity to help us fund essential equipment, travel expenses, and facility upgrades that keep our program competitive and our players thriving.

Since launching our inaugural season, Pelicans Baseball has grown from a brand-new program into a legitimate regional powerhouse. Yesterday was the first day of fall classes on the Nunez campus in Chalmette AND our brand new Plaquemines Parish site in Belle Chasse!

Dual Enrollment students now have the opportunity to take welding and electrical courses in Plaquemines Parish thanks to our partners at Plaquemines Parish School Board Schools, Plaquemines Parish Economic Development and Tourism and SME!
