WINNING WEDNESDAY
It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time to celebrate the many ways our Falcons are WINNING! From victories on the field and court to school spirit, teamwork, leadership, and everything happening behind the scenes… there’s a lot to celebrate this week!
Junior High Football kicked off its season Thursday with a HOME WIN over Clinton Prairie, 34-26! What a way to start the season! Great job to our players and coaching staff for getting that first win under their belts!
And they had some extra support on the sidelines! Our Varsity Football team showed up for the JH opener to cheer on our younger Falcons, help in the concession stand, and support the program. We love seeing our older athletes show up for the younger ones and demonstrate what it means to be part of ONE Frontier Football program.
Friday night was the Varsity Football home opener, and halftime was Youth Football & Cheer Night. We loved having our future Falcons join us under the Friday night lights! There’s something pretty special about seeing the next generation of Frontier athletes and cheerleaders standing alongside the athletes they look up to.
Our Varsity Cheer team also showed up ready to CHEER! These ladies were loud, energetic, smiling BIG, and showed everyone just how hard they’ve been working all summer. Way to bring the Falcon spirit, ladies!
Varsity Volleyball gave Falcon fans even more to cheer about Monday, defeating North White 3-1 and improving to 3-1 on the season! Another great win for this group. Keep it rolling, ladies!
And the volleyball wins kept coming Tuesday night!
Junior High Volleyball opened its season against South Newton, and BOTH our 7th grade AND 8th grade teams picked up victories in their season openers. What a way to start the season! Congratulations, ladies! Keep it going!
And while we’re talking Volleyball, we have a special Winning Wednesday shoutout for Annabelle Layton!
Annabelle is a hardworking, positive, and driven athlete who brings GREAT energy to her team! She leads by example through her work ethic and determination, but what really stands out is the way she supports the people around her.
Whether she’s on the court competing or on the sideline cheering, Annabelle is constantly encouraging her teammates and helping make her team better.
Keep working hard, keep lifting up those around you, and keep WINNING, Annabelle!
And THAT is what Winning Wednesday is all about.
Congratulations, Falcons! Keep working. Keep growing. Keep showing up for each other. And keep WINNING!
