Looking to spread your creative wings? Looking for a new adventure? Maybe you have heard of Metal Clay! It is really not clay at all-it is a revolutionary craft medium that allows you to explore working in metals in a while new way! Microscopic particles of metal are mixed with an organic binder and water to create a “clay” that can be molded, formed, cut...you name it! It is eventually fired in a jewelry kiln and your piece winters to a solid metal creation! Wow, right! Sounds like something that could awaken the artist in you! The Northeast Ohio Metal Clay Guild meets once a month at the Valley Art Center in Chagrin Falls. Metal clay artists and artists of many different medium gather to learn, share and create! Wow! Did I have some talented students over the past two Sundays during a Champleve Enamel on Metal Clay workshop! I think we all had a blast, I know I did! And everyone completed a beautiful piece, some completed 2!

A big Thank you to the Parma Lapidary Club for hosting us this past Sunday, and showing us all the fabulous ins and outs of the world of stone cutting! Some incredibly talented people we were blessed to meet! I am sure you will see us again! Coke hang out with your metal clay buddies anytime!!
