Fall sports pictures next Tuesday August 25th.

Athletes should be bringing these home this week, but here is the picture of the options so you can begin to plan.

Pictures will start at 1:00 pm

Band Camp is coming up!

Leadership: All section leaders and Drum majors
Percussion: Any student interested in marching a percussion instrument
Visual: All high school band students
Music: All high school band students

Reminders:
- Students are required to have a physical on file to participate. They can bring them on the first day of band camp or they can be turned into the main office
- Hydrate NOW! Start drinking lots of water now! Hydration happens before you get out in the heat, not after
- Get outside! If band camp is the first time you step outside into the heat, it will not be fun

Students need to bring:
- Their instrument
- A positive attitude
- Lots of water
- Sunscreen

Students should wear:
- Athletic shoes
- Athletic wear
- Hat

Please enter through the band room door. Expect to go outside every day.
Expect to play your instrument every day.

Tomorrow, July 7th, is the Chaffee Athletics Department Fundraiser Blitz Night. Please arrive at the High School Gym at 3:45 to get into groups to go out into the community to sell cards. Any unsold cards and money are due at the end of the night. At 6:30, please return to the gym and food will be provided for you. Money raised from these cards go straight to your athletic teams/groups. So, if you are only in band, the money you raise goes straight to the band. Please attend!

Parents & Students: you can start selling this years discount cards. Screenshot this post and crop the back of the discount card and send it out to your family group chat, your friend group, or your page!

All money collected will be split by what activities and sports YOUR kid plays.

If your child does band and track, their money that comes from their sales goes directly to band and track evenly.

The guy who does the cards is coming in Monday at 9:30 am. We need ALL (as many students as we can get) to show up to hear from him, get their cards, and begin selling!

If they can’t make it in, please contact a coach/sponsor they participate with to arrange picking up their cards early in the week.

We have to turn in unsold cards on July 7th at our Blitz Night from 4:00-7:00 pm.
