Welcome Back!!
The school year is off to a great start.
Just a couple of things to start the year:
Fall pictures are Thursday September 3 (next week!) Order forms are going home today.

In class:

6th grade is going to start the year reading Esperanza Rising. We will be working on characterization and what we can infer in their responses to challenges.

7th grade is going to start with The Giver. We will also be working on characterization and what we can infer about them through actions and behaviors.

8th grade is starting with The Outsiders. We will be discussing stereotypes, characters and their motivations, and what we can infer about their motivations.

9th grade is starting with Unbroken. We will begin with making inferences and character motivation and point of view.

If you have any questions, you please feel free to call the school or email me.
