After 30 years at Chadron State College, we are celebrating the retirement of Dr. Tim Keith. For many of us, myself included, it is hard to imagine CSC without Dr. Keith. For three decades, he has been a constant presence in our department through his passion for chemistry, unforgettable lectures, research projects, and his commitment to making students truly think through the math… without a calculator.

Dr. Keith’s curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and dedication to students have shaped generations of Eagles. Whether in the classroom, lab, or tinkering with equipment and ideas for student research, he made an impact that will last far beyond campus. While he will be deeply missed at CSC, we are excited for him to enjoy a well-earned retirement on the farm with his wife, Jackie.

Thank you, Dr. Keith, for 30 years of mentorship, laughter, challenges, and dedication to Chadron State College. 🦅❤️🖤

Our physics crew showed up as Minions, while Environmental Chemistry brought the Lorax and the trees to life 🌎✨ Science, chaos, sustainability, and a little bit of finals week fun all in one place.
Sometimes the best learning happens when we let ourselves be creative, laugh a little, and enjoy the process.

Dr. Keithly and Ms. Mason had the best time visiting the CDC exploring cirrus, stratus, and cumulus clouds and even making it rain (shaving cream style!) 🌧️👩‍🔬🧑‍🔬
